After three weeks of picking, grading, sorting and packing apples, we have finally finished. The best apples were put into trays and boxes. The trays have been sent down to Provence and the boxes will be sold at the farm. The apples that had been damaged by hail have been sold to a local company and the smaller apples have been transformed into over a thousand bottles of juice.
Life should now return to normal.
Congratulations…the photos of the fruits of your labor are beautiful. Put your feet up and have a glass of cider!
Beautiful fruit! Now that the harvest is in, is the rest of the year “quiet” for you?
Hi there!
I just found you! Wow – what a life! I wish I could live in the Alps right around now (although I’m living a pretty exciting life this year, anyways, but that’s beside the point).
The apples look delish. I am going to take a few minutes to read more on your blog. Glad to have found you!

Now every golden delicious I eat is going to make me wonder if it came from your place…a very real possibility 🙂
Hoorah! Congrats on all the hard work!
You must be breathing a sigh of relief at accomplishing that daunting task. Congrats!
On en croquerait!
